R300 per month Passive Income to R1 200 per month Passive Income

11 months ago I was earning R300 per month passive income from using Google Adsense on my sites as well as on some online writing sites I belong to. Now the same passive income earning techniques are earning me R1 200 per month passive income. This is because I now have more pages of content on the Internet than I did 11 months ago.

R300 per month passive income seemed so little reward for my efforts, but had I not done anything to try and improve that passive income, now, 11 months later, I would still be earning only R300 per month passive income instead of the R1 200 per month passive income that I am now earning.

Trying to earn passive income online can be scary because the earnings take a while to grow. One doesn’t feel like putting lots of effort in in an attempt to get the passive income to grow, but, boy, am I glad I bothered to stick to it! It’s wonderful to know that even if I don’t do any work, I am still able to earn R1 200 per month.

I wrote a long 6 000 word article 11 months ago, about how I thought it was possible to earn as much as R10 000 per month in about three years’ time if I (or anybody) wrote and published 10 articles online each and every day.

Well, I haven’t had the time to write and publish 10 articles a day each day, as I do other work too, but whenever I get the chance, I write another article, like I’m doing right now.

The few new articles that I have manged to write from time to time over the past 11 months have certainly done their work, though. If I hadn’t bothered to write and publish them online, I’d still only be earning R300 per month passive income from using Google Adsense on the same pages as my articles.

How long have you spent looking for work from home ideas that “are going to work”? Before you know it, a year will have passed and you’re still looking. It’s not a work from home idea that works or not – it’s you.

With work from home ideas, the more effort one puts in, the more one gets out.

I’m glad I wrote that long article about how one can make R10 000 per month (within 3 years from when started) from writing and publishing 10 articles a day, and that I’m still trying 11 months later. I have seen my passive income earnings grow because I never gave up. No, I’m not going to make R10 000 per month from this in the next 2 years and one month, but that’s because I’m not writing and publishing 10 articles a day. I see that it would certainly be possible if I could manage to write and publish 10 articles a day.

Of course it’s not all just about writing and publishing. One does also have to put in a bit of extra effort like leaving links on the Internet that point to the articles you’ve written, and learning a little bit about Search Engine Optimization – from free-to-read articles all over the Internet.

But nothing’s gonna happen if you don’t start doing anything.
