I Make Money While I Sleep and So Can You!
I did first put in some work and effort, but now make money while I sleep or do nothing. If I want to make even more money while I sleep, I put in some more effort, but if I don’t put in any more effort, I still make money while I sleep, each month, from the work I’ve already done. It’s awesome! Make no mistake, it took quite a bit of learning, time and work to get my monthly passive income up to a level I’m now reasonably happy with, but what a wonderful feeling it is to make money while I sleep. How much passive income am I currently (end of April 2012) earning? Over R2 000 per month from using Google Adsense on my sites. How long did it take me … Read entire article »

2012 Surfers Marathon My 15th Surfers Experience
Why on earth put my 15th East London Surfers Marathon experience on my Work From Home South Africa blog? Why not rather on my teresaschultz.blogspot.com blog (where I have posted a message to all 2012 Surfers walkers) which might be more suitable for a blog post about my 15th East London Surfers Coastal Challenge. Well, because I’m strapped for time, and have a lot of freelance work to catch up with, but I guess that doesn’t explain it either? Well, when one is strapped for time, but also trying to increase one’s passive income as quickly as they can, one needs to come up with all sorts of ideas to do both – carry on with usual work (and life) as well as carry on working at increasing passive income. One of the … Read entire article »

How To Make Money From a Book You Can’t Get Published
Your hopes of making tons of money from a book you wrote are dashed. You have tried to get your book published, but you keep coming up against brick walls. Was all that writing effort in vain? You don’t want to throw your work away; you want other people to read what you wrote, and you want to make money from the effort you put into writing that book. Does the following information tell you anything? For a six-month period, from August 2011 to January 2012, this site that you’re on now (a site called workfromhomeideas.co.za with a blog on it too called Work From Home South Africa) (the blog part is the part that you’re on now) made me money due to my writing efforts. From Adsense alone, this site made … Read entire article »

While I Slept I earned R1 500 in January 2012
In one month I earned R1 500 while I slept or did nothing. Cost? Just under R200. I actually earned a bit more than R1 500 passive income in January 2012, but will give details of that tomorrow or the next day when I do my monthly passive income report. Today I am talking about my passive income earned from just Google Adsense. If you go through this site, you’ll see that I have often written articles about earning passive income online, or about earning passive income from Google Adsense, by being an Adsense publisher. It’s easy to write about this topic, and I enjoy doing it not only to try help other South Africans realise that it is possible to make passive income online, but as a report or review … Read entire article »

How Much Money I Made Online in November 2011 – Earnings Report
Right. It’s the first day of December 2011 and let’s see if my online passive income earnings were more for November than they were in October. Well, my Adsense earnings went down a bit. November R1 434. October was R1 521. I’m not thrilled about this R77 decrease, when I usually expect my Adsense earnings to go up at least a little each month. Adsense earnings can fluctuate, but when, in any particular month, I’m adding more articles to my sites or to online writing sites that have Adsense revenue share, I do expect my Adsense earnings to increase a little each month. Although I cannot be 100% sure, I do feel that the Adsense earnings of any Adsense publisher stand the chance of not earning as much for Adsense publishers as … Read entire article »

Why does Being Paid in Dollars instead of Rands put you off Working From Home?
Are you worried that places or people will be unable to pay you because you are in South Africa and South Africans use rands and not dollars? If you see a website or program that is not South African that you are keen to join in an effort to make some extra income, why do you not join the site or program? When trying to earn an extra income online or as a freelancer, and you see a website is an American website, do not jump to the conclusion that you won’t be able to get paid or that you can only be paid in American dollars instead of in South African rands. Look through the site, read frequently asked questions on the site, or even attempt to join, and while filling … Read entire article »

Internet Earnings Report Passive Income in September 2011
I’m both sad and pleased about my September 2011 Online Passive Income Earnings Report. The Adsense earnings part of my passive income earnings took a bit of an overall knock, which is the sad part, or course – my overall Adsense earnings for September 2011 were R1 493 compared to overall Adsense earnings for August 2011 being R1 866, but at the same time I’m somewhat pleased about my September 2011 Adsense earnings because the part of it that I wanted to improve, did improve. And I think that working on a particular part of my Adsense earnings saw me neglecting the other parts a bit, which seems to have made them somewhat suffer – but at least they still earned me something, for doing nothing or next to nothing with … Read entire article »

Internet Earnings Report Passive Income Made in August 2011
My Internet passive income earnings from using Adsense on my sites is generally growing nicely each month. My July 2011 Adsense earnings were R1 616, and my August 2011 Adsense earnings were R1 866. The more articles I add to my sites, the more I earn. I use a few other methods of earning passive income too (see further below for details and for my full total for my online passive income earnings for August 2011) but, at the moment anyhow, I earn the most from using Adsense, and also earn the most from passive income on my own sites, rather than from other sites. I like to use other sites too, though, since I can leave links on other sites leading back to my articles on my own sites, … Read entire article »

I am Earning R350 per month off a R35 per month Investment
I am actually making use of this R35 per month investment to try earning more than R350 per month, but how am I currently earning R350 per month off something that costs me only R35 per month? Well, it actually costs me slightly less than R35 per month, but I am describing it as R35 per month because that is what it would cost you if we assisted you in also trying to earn R350 per month for a R35 per month investment. What on earth am I talking about? A blog site similar to this one, if ordered through us, will cost you R420 per year (which works out at R35 per month, but we accept only a payment for the year in advance, so R420, to be paid yearly.) What do … Read entire article »

Analysis of my Recent Passive Income Online Earnings
For a while now, this work from home South African (me) has been writing monthly reports about my passive income online earnings. This is not only for showing other South Africans that making passive income online is certainly possible, but also for me to refer back to, to see how my passive income is growing – or not growing, so that I can better plan what to do next. Planning better can help me avoid wasting time on passive income earning methods that are not working so well for me, or the planning better can help me sort out which sites and passive income earning methods I should spend more time on, to further increase my passive income more rapidly. I not only check back over my own earnings, but also … Read entire article »

R300 per month Passive Income to R1 200 per month Passive Income
11 months ago I was earning R300 per month passive income from using Google Adsense on my sites as well as on some online writing sites I belong to. Now the same passive income earning techniques are earning me R1 200 per month passive income. This is because I now have more pages of content on the Internet than I did 11 months ago. R300 per month passive income seemed so little reward for my efforts, but had I not done anything to try and improve that passive income, now, 11 months later, I would still be earning only R300 per month passive income instead of the R1 200 per month passive income that I am now earning. Trying to earn passive income online can be scary because the earnings … Read entire article »
